Why I'm running

I am running because every student deserves the opportunity to thrive, every family deserves to be heard, and every educator deserves the support and respect to do their best work. 

As a Waterloo City Councillor (2006-2014), I worked hard to bring the community's voice to city hall. 

As an executive with Habitat for Humanity, I work hard to build healthy & strong communities in Waterloo Region and across this nation. 

As a community leader, I work hard to challenge underperforming systems and create positive change. 

Our community deserves an excellent public school system. 

As a trustee, I will bring experience, accountability, and a strong community voice to help make that happen.
